David's Promise Sponsorships
Sponsoring a participant at David's Promise means supporting participants in meaningful life enrichment activities all year. Participants grow in independence and life skills while connecting with others. They serve each other and the community through various programs. Regular activities include fitness classes, gardening, music therapy, cooking, and art. It's about learning, connecting, and making a difference together.
Be A Participant Sponsor
Our participants do not pay a fee to be part of the David’s Promise programming. We have dedicated staff, assisted by extraordinary volunteers, who bring joy and enrichment to the adults with unique abilities. Your sponsorship helps cover staff salaries, facility costs, program materials, as well as other costs such as insurance, etc. David’s Promise meets in three groups, two times every week for eleven months of the year. August is a time for planning, rest, rejuvenation and celebration.

Be An Art Sponsor
Your sponsorship helps cover the cost of materials and professionals from Jackson School of the Arts who present creative, hands-on art experiences for our David’s Promise participants. Sessions are presented four times per month.

Be A Music Sponsor
Your sponsorship helps cover instrument rental and the cost of professionals from Harmony Garden Music Therapy Services, who will present fun and interactive instruction to explore the expressive gifts of David’s Promise participants. Sessions are presented four times per month

Be A Book Club Sponsor
Your sponsorship helps cover the cost of materials and facilitation by David’s Promise staff.

After School Backpack Sponsor
Your sponsorship helps cover the cost of food that is provided to vulnerable school aged children in Jackson County. Nonperishable food items are packaged in bags for individual students by David’s Promise participants, and distributed weekly to schools in Jackson County.

Be A Garden Sponsor
Your sponsorship helps cover the cost of seeds, plants, and gardening supplies at CMJC's Community Garden. David’s Promise participants care for the garden throughout the growing season. Produce harvested is given away to those in need, in our community.
